FWSDS needs your help more now than ever before. From Member Support, Community Support, Local Business and Corporate Support, to Arts and Grant Support.
We work to bring live bands featuring original and classic swing tunes of the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s – to preserve the cultural dances of East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa and Shag. Two Fridays a month we have Social Dancing and we plan local Fort Worth Workshops to bring instructors from outside the metroplex to teach current styles and trends.
Our hard work inspires and gives feelings of successful accomplishment. This is a healthy social activity for the body and mind for all age groups!
Members support us by joining once a year at our current membership fee, and we give them benefits at every dance and workshop we host! Our members go further to support us by coming out to each dance we hold as a regular and inspiring others to do so! Thank you!
Individual Membership Yearly Fee: $10 Per Person
Community Support comes from dancers in the community who are established in life but like to get out and have a good time and support the arts (groups like us!) by submitting sponsorship money as encouragement to continue what we are doing and more! Sometimes a husband and wife or a couple of friends get together put in for a sponsorship:
Community Support Sponsorship: $100 - $300
Anyone participating in our Community Support Sponsorship will be thanked and placed on our Members page as a thank you. You will also receive two free tickets for our next Live Band Dance or DJ Dance.
Local Business and Corporate Support comes from small business owners who know the joy of Swing Dancing and want to contribute to its success, and from large corporations who know the benefit of promoting healthy activities to their work force to encourage productivity and creativity.
Local Business and Corporate Sponsorship Levels Include 
Silver Level Sponsorship – $500.00 USD to FWSDS will gain a tax write off for donation to a non-profit 501c3. Five Free FWSDS Tickets to our next Live Band to give away to your staff. A Local Business and Corporate Thank You Note on our Support Page with Personalized Logo.
Gold Level Sponsorship – $1000.00 USD to FWSDS will gain a tax write off for donation to a non-profit 501c3. Ten Free FWSDS Tickets to our next Live Band to give away to your staff. A Local Business and Corporate Thank You Note on our Support Page with Personalized Logo. Your Local Business or Corporate Logo added to our home page for a 60 day duration with a link to your website.
FWSDS relies on Arts an Grants support to maintain the ability to bring live bands and new instructors to the Fort Worth metroplex. We need continued support from grant providers each year to function. Each time we receive a grant we will post a thank you on our website and also include your organizations logo related event in which the grant money is used.
